John A. Brikmanis
Ottawa County Attorney
As the sole practitioner, I am committed to carrying on its tradition of expertise. I offer legal services in a wide range of practice areas from bankruptcy for individuals facing financial trouble to elder law to personal injury. My probate practice is the largest in Ottawa County. I also provide comprehensive representation in tax law, including as ongoing tax counsel for business and disputes with the IRS.
In addition to my law practice, I am active in the Ottawa County Bar Association, where I served as past president. Before entering the legal profession, I earned an M.A. in clinical counseling psychology and spent a decade practicing as a clinical psychologist. I now draw on those valuable skills to better serve clients.
When clients step through the door, they find immediate relief knowing their legal concerns are in good hands. I have spent my entire career in Oak Harbor, Ohio, and draw upon more than 25 years of experience handling a wide range of legal matters. I am very familiar with the legal needs of area residents as well as the local courts and legal community. I make use of long-standing community ties to better meet clients’ legal needs.
